We have two Hemel Hempstead hotels and may more in the surrounding areas, including in central parts of London.
This Hertfordshire town is only 24 miles from London, making it a great location outside of the M25 for people needing convenient access to the capital. But that’s not to say that this town doesn’t have something to offer in itself – it certainly does.
Adrenalin junkies and families with children (with lots of energy to burn!) will love the Snow Centre indoor skiing facility and the Aqua Splash indoor water park. There’s also a Delta Force Paintball facility just a couple of miles south of the town in nearby Kings Langley.
Museumgoers can enjoy the Frogmore Paper Trail Mill, which is now a museum. Nearby St Albans has several more museums to offer too.
Hemel Hempstead has some beautiful outdoor locations for those looking to enjoy the open air. Gadebridge Park stands out. It’s about 32 hectares in size and really open, yet manages not to feel too secluded. It contains bowling greens, stunning gardens and is the perfect place for a beautiful, peaceful walk.
Of course, there’s something for the shoppers too in the form of two shopping centres. The Marlowe Shopping Centre and the Riverside Shopping Centre both house a number of retailers and are both within the town itself. They’re in easy reach of our hotels.
Getting here isn’t difficult at all, with easy access to the M25 and the airports of London, as well as train routes connecting the town with London, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and other locations. It’s close enough to London to access the capital, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle and if that sounds up your street, visit us at one of our Hemel Hempstead hotels.
