Spread over 20 square blocks, the Dallas Arts District is the largest in the U.S. and offers a fantastic selection of museums, performing arts venues and more. The Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, and Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center are popular picks if your time is limited. Other notable museums in the area include the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

Downtown, visit historic Dealey Plaza and tour The Sixth Floor Museum. Relax in Klyde Warren Park or grab a photo at Pioneer Plaza, home to 49 bronze longhorn cattle sculptures. Spend time outside at the nearby Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, a 66-acre urban oasis located on White Rock Lake. For shopping and dining, explore Dallas neighborhoods such as the eclectic Bishop Arts District or upscale Highland Park Village. Or, visit one of Dallas’s premier shopping malls such as NorthPark Center or the Galleria Dallas.

Friendly and helpful staff

The staff was very friendly and helpful when I could not get internet access. The front desk clerk helped right away and made sure I could access internet and continue to work from my room in the [More] evening. Coffee was always fresh and hot, the eating area was very clean. The evening wine, beer, and cheese plates were nice and fresh. [Less]

Completely Pleased With This Hotel!
By leighann0304
I was very impressed with the large, jetted tub. (We did not use the jets or the tub, but it would have been a nice option if we had desired it). We stayed here to attend a football game at Dallas [More] Cowboy Stadium. It was the perfect distance to get us out of the crazy traffic and closer to home for the drive the next day. The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. I even enjoyed the smell of the soaps! [Less]

Anniversary Weekend Stay
By I need endorphins!
I stayed at this hotel during the weekend of an anniversary party for a family member who lives nearby. I stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotels quite frequently and overall, my stay was good. Dealing [More] with family members can be challenging so I attempted to take advantage of the fitness center and pool at this hotel to generate happy thoughts and endorphins. Unfortunately, the two treadmills in the fitness center were not in the best shape. One seemed to work fine for awhile but after about 2.5 miles, it just abruptly shut down and no effort on my part could get it started again. (I am a middle-aged person who does not run fast so not sure why it stopped working.) I switched to other treadmill and the rotating belt did not move properly--fits and starts and wobbly are words I would use to describe it. I had to abandon my fitness plans. On another day, I stopped by the pool and unfortunately, I found this area dirty, i.e., leftover band-aids, discarded towels. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, the breakfasts were pretty good so these to events were a bit disappointing for my overall stay. [Less]
Great Service and Comfortable bed
By barbieworld01
The front desk staff was very attentive and met all my needs. I asked front desk staff if on the day of check in would i be able to check in earlier, they informed me to call on the morning of check [More] in and I did and they informed me that yes I would be able to check in earlier. This made things a lot easier on us, that we would be able to unload our baggage and other items that we would need in our room, instead of coming back from wedding when it would be pitch dark outside. The beds were very comfortable. When I laid my head on pillow I was out. [Less]
