Great Hotel good location

Hotel clean and modern, staff friendly and in good location - next to Canal. Good value for money and rate includes breakfast. Would recommend for business or leisure stays. [Less]
Brilliant service. Brilliant staff
By Hotwheels 555
Stayed in a lot of different hotels but this was by far and away the best experience I have had. The way the staff meet and greet you to when you check out they couldn't do enough for you. Cannot [More] praise the manager enough on how she manages her staff. Better experience than some so called 5* establishments. [Less]
Overnight stay
By Tatty
Had a lovely stay in this hotel, quite relaxing. My only issue was the air con in the reception / bar area. Seemed to be permanently on and felt quite cold. Got a little chilly when sitting in the [More] bar area to have a drink. Cannot fault anything, staff were helpful and was kind enough to take a family photo for us all. It was nice to walk across to the Papermill to have a meal and then a minutest walk back to relax in the hotel. Thank you to all of your staff. [Less]
Great staff and convenient place to stay
By Bremma
Staff where all friendly and very helpful. Our room was ready earlier than expected which was great, but we were offered to store our luggage if it wasn't. The hotel was convenient for us to get [More] around London with just a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground station. Room was on the small side when the sofa bed was being used, but ok if only using room as a base. Breakfast was sufficient, but not much variety. Overall great stay. [Less]
Excellent staff and good breakfast service
By jj2010
This Holiday Inn Express hotel is excellent value for money. The staff is very courteous, helpful and can make your visit pleasant and easy. The included breakfast in the morning is absolutely great [More] and you don't have to go anywhere. There are nice places nearby but its worth not having to bother taking a walk if you don't want to and just get ready for your day instead. The healthy choices at this breakfast were good and I appreciated those. I reserved a room here because the previous hotel where i had a reservation was a completely filthy nightmare and service was non-existent. I was so pleased I made this decision to forgo their room and moved here. Right from the get-go - the staff was courteous, they even allowed me to visually inspect the room before i moved in. The underground station is a little further than i liked but that did not take away from the experience. Definitely recommend this place as a value option. [Less]
Very quiet comfortable room
By Innocent john
I only stayed here for one night while attending an event at Olympia. London hotels can be a problem due to road noise but I had a lovelty sleep as the room was so quiet. It's walking distance to [More] Olympia and two tube or overground stations. Friendly efficient staff. It was a good experience overall [Less]
Immacualte, clean , friendly and welcoming
By Julie54
From the moment we arrived the staff were all very friendly, attentive, warm and welcoming. The security parking even offered to help with my parking. I was recognised immediately as a rewards [More] member and greeted in a very professional but also individual guest which immediately made me want to return. The bed was extremely comfortable with the added bonus of choice of pillows. everywhere was spotlessly clean , the room and the hotel surpassed my expectations on every level. Checking out was effortless with no waiting as reception staff were very efficient and friendly. [Less]
Watford Business

Great customer services, slightly dated hotel, breakfast needs an overhaul [Less]
Great hotel convenient for rail services
By eddi29
Hotel is very near to the station which is useful. It was clean and tidy, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was nice. Breakfast was varied and the cold selection was actually put out [More] earlier than the advertised start time so if you need a very early breakfast it appears you can at least get a continental breakfast before the advertised breakfast start time. The WiFi was good, not especially fast but OK. We had a problem in the room which was rectified very quickly by hotel staff. The noise from the trains may bother light sleepers. We had to sleep with the window open because the room was quite hot, but when you take the key out of the slot in the room it also stops the aircon working, so when we came back from our evening meal out, the room was really hot as the window had been shut, so we had to open it to get some fresh air.
